What is Acne?

1: Jojoba Oil – Being the plant based carrier oil that is most like our own skin’s sebum, organic, unrefined jojoba oil is a great base carrier oil. 2: Jasmine Essential Oil – This is an optional essential because it can be difficult to locate, but if you get your hands on a bottle it is a wonderful balancing oil especially for oilier skin and it promotes cell regeneration and scar healing. Due to the large amount of acne my poor face has seen I need lots of jasmine oil. Although not cheap, you can grab a beautiful jasmine absolute here.
3: Vitamin E – This is a wonderful healer! It’s powerful emollient that complements the jojoba oil and the essential oils and keeps the skin hydrated, heals acne scars, and smooths fine wrinkles. Always seek out a non-GMO Vitamin E.
4: Lavender Essential Oil – Helps with inflammation and redness, and lavender essential oil actually inhibits the growth of bacteria that can cause a small pimple to grow into something larger than life.
