It is antidepressant and calming, refreshes the air and dissipates cooking odors. It is also a good grease cutter and is very useful in removing gooey residues, such as price labels from glass products and glass picture frames (without the picture inside the frame!). Always test a small area as its color may discolor certain finishes.
